The System for Autonomy and Care for Dependency (SAAD) is above all intended to guarantee basic conditions and provide levels of protection for all individuals in a situation of dependency, serving as a channel both for the contribution and involvement of the Public Authorities and for the optimisation of the available public and private resources.
